    QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY:

The Daily Mile welcomes all Daily Mile US schools/daycares to enter into the Giveaway. If your school is not currently a Daily Mile school, please join the movement here. It’s 100% free! After you join, please ensure the domain @thedailymile.us is whitelisted by your school district’s IT department to receive email communications.

Schools must have a minimum of 1-2 classrooms doing The Daily Mile (15-minutes a day of outdoor running, jogging, walking, or rolling) for at least a month.

Schools must provide a Daily Mile impact story. Written stories should be accompanied by photos (like these examples: Image 1Image 2, Image 3), OR you may submit a video testimonial (like Katie’s Story or this Student Testimonial). Please follow your school district’s permission policy before submitting stories. Email your story to team@thedailymile.us.

The $2,500 and $25,000 giveaways will be awarded for sustainable initiatives to improve student and/or teacher physical or mental health. For example: funding professional development for childhood wellbeing, building a route to run on, or creating a school garden.
