Children at a Leatherhead school for children with disabilities have inspired a head teacher who is campaigning to get children to be more active.

Students at Woodlands School are already taking part in The Daily Mile campaign, founded by award-winning teacher Elaine Wyllie, which encourages children to run for 15 minutes every day, averaging a mile distance.

She visited the school on May 25 to meet staff and members of CSH Surrey’s nursing and therapy teams.
