Can my family do The Daily Mile at home?

Absolutely! The Daily Mile At Home initiative helps families stay active and healthy by walking, jogging, or running for 15 minutes at least three times a week. Learn more about The Daily Mile At Home today!

 

How do I get The Daily Mile at my child’s school?

If you would like your child’s school to consider doing The Daily Mile, we encourage you to reach out to them! Talk to your school principal, teachers, PTA/PTOs, and community leaders about The Daily Mile. Check out our Resources page for free tools that may assist you in approaching your child’s school about starting The Daily Mile. Or sign up today to become an official Daily Mile Champion! Help improve the physical, mental, emotional, and social health of all children by getting The Daily Mile in all schools. Plus, you’ll benefit from boosting your resume, networking, and having fun.

 

How can I get involved if my child is doing The Daily Mile at school?

If your child is doing The Daily Mile at school you can support this at home, by both encouraging their confidence in running and moving outside with them, out of school hours. Parents often say that The Daily Mile helps children to eat and sleep better and that often they become young ambassadors for whole family fitness!

The Daily Mile is brilliant. Both my boys love it. I am sure they are easier to teach, more cooperative and concentrate better after expelling their excess energy.
